Dr. Joelyn received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2006 from the University of the Philippines (Dean’s Honours List). At that time, she was also presented with the Award for Excellence in Patient Management by the Philippine Association of Optometrists for her exceptional patient care.

Dr. Claridad graduated from the University of Santo Tomas in 2003 with a Doctor of Optometry degree (Dean’s Honour List). He has been practicing in Digos City with the EyeSeeU Optical for his entire career. He has special interest in pediatrics, contact lenses and family practice.

Dr. Val Everson Sienes

EyeseeU Optometry Consultant

Dr. Sienes received a B.Sc. in Laboratory Medicine at the University of Santo Tomas, and a Doctor of Optometry at the University of the Philippines. His optometric interests in family practice include ocular disease. Dr. Malakas was involved in research for a breast cancer antigen detection kit, and he also published and co-authored an article on the role of pathogenic yeast in humans.

Dr. Edra graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science in 2015. He then went to University of Santo Tomas to complete his Doctorate of Optometry. He graduated with distinction in 2019. Dr. Edra has a special interest in family practice, ocular disease, and contact lenses.

Dr. Zafe graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelors Degree in Optometryin 2013. Following optometry school, He completed an additional year of residency training at University of the Philippines focusing on ocular disease management and primary care.
